How we write and check
our guides.
Short answer: Our guides are drafted with AI assistance (Claude) and edited by The Experts AI team. We check product facts, prices and plan details against the vendor's own documentation and fix errors when we find them or a reader reports them. Guides that a finance professional has reviewed say so, with the date.
Who we are
The Experts AI makes a self-paced workshop on building a cash flow dashboard with Claude Code, for bookkeepers, accountants and FP&A. Our guides are free to read. We are independent and not affiliated with Anthropic, Intuit or Xero.
How a guide is made
- A real question. We start from questions finance people ask about using Claude in their work.
- Sources first. We collect the vendor's own documentation: help centers, pricing pages, release notes and announcements.
- AI-assisted draft. We draft with Claude. It helps with structure, wording and prompts; it does not decide what is true.
- Fact check. Before publishing, we check product facts against those sources, recalculate numbers and confirm that sample data matches its expected totals.
- Sources and dates. Where a guide states product facts, prices or plan details, we link the vendor pages behind them and say when we checked them. A few older guides don't have this yet; we add it when we next update them. The "Updated" date changes only when the content changes.
What we don't do
- We don't publish AI-generated reviews, testimonials or invented case studies.
- We don't present AI-written text as the personal experience of a named person.
- Sample companies and transactions in our guides are fictional, and we say so.
Expert review
When Leo Godnik, CFO, has reviewed a guide, the guide says "Reviewed by Leo Godnik, CFO" with the review date. Guides without that line have not had his review yet.
When we update a guide
We update a guide when a vendor announces a change, when prices or plans change, when a reader reports an error, and when our own checks find something out of date. Product facts move fast: in October 2026 we rewrote our Claude Cowork guides after Anthropic began merging Cowork and chat into one Claude.
Corrections
Found a mistake or an outdated fact? Email hello@theexpertsai.com with the page and what is wrong. We check it against the source and fix the page.
Commercial interest
We sell one product: the workshop. Pages that compare it with other courses or tools say so, and we describe other options using what their providers publish.
