↳ Try CSV import to add three transactions and see what changes.
New transactions. Same clear picture.
Add a catering order and two expenses.
We’ve supplied the sample. No upload needed.
Sample import only. Your own files stay out of this demo.
Net cash flow = money received − money paid. Cash movement is not accounting profit.
A small project. An entire workflow. From raw transactions to numbers you can explain.
Open full demoFrom sample CSV
to “I built this.”
You already understand the numbers.
Now learn how to turn that knowledge into a tool.
- 01 / PREPARE
Start with the data.
Open the sample CSV. Know what each column and total means.
- 02 / DESCRIBE
Give AI a clear brief.
Follow a focused prompt. Ask for one useful change at a time.
- 03 / BUILD
Watch it take shape.
Build the overview, transaction log, and CSV import step by step.
- 04 / VERIFY
Make sure it adds up.
Reconcile the totals. Fix mistakes. Then make the project your own.
AI can build it.
You should understand it.
A polished chart isn’t proof that the numbers are right. This workshop pairs the build with a checking routine: inspect the source, verify the totals, and question the result.

Six Claude Code lessons.
One useful finance project.
A focused sequence you can follow at your own pace.
Every lesson moves your project forward.
01Get started with Claude Code
Set up your workspace and open the sample project.
Learn what Claude Code does, what you need to run it, and how the sample files fit together. Start with fictional data, without connecting a bank account.
Read the free starter lesson ↗02Turn a finance task into a clear prompt
Describe the data, the calculations, and the result you want.
Use a reusable project brief to specify dates, categories, inflows, outflows, and cash flow totals. Give Claude a focused task and a way to check its work.
03Build your cash flow dashboard
Create your first working view of money in and money out.
Build the dashboard in small steps. Add summary cards, monthly charts, and period filters, then compare the output with the sample totals.
04Add transactions and CSV import
Bring new transactions into your app without double counting.
Build a transaction log, map CSV columns, and handle repeated imports. Check that new rows update both the table and the dashboard.
05Check the numbers. Fix the mistakes.
Spot incorrect signs, broken totals, and common AI build errors.
Work through a practical checking routine. Break a large request into smaller changes, read error messages, and verify the result before moving on.
06Make the dashboard your own
Change categories, filters, and the look of your project.
Make a small change independently, check that the original calculations still work, and save a working version you can return to.
Get a feel for it.
Before you commit.
Read the starter lesson and explore the same sample data used in the demo. No bank connection. No real financial data needed.

Who is this workshop for?
Bookkeepers, accountants, controllers, FP&A analysts and small-business owners who already work with spreadsheets and want to build their own finance tools with AI. If you reconcile transactions, prepare cash flow reports or live in Excel, this project will feel familiar.
Will it work with my QuickBooks, Xero or Excel export?
The workshop uses a simple four-column CSV: date, description, category and amount. Most accounting tools and banks, including QuickBooks and Xero, can export transactions to CSV, and Excel or Google Sheets can save a sheet as CSV. Lesson 4 covers mapping columns. Exports differ, so you may need to rename or remove columns first. Start with the sample data before using real records.
Can’t I learn this from free tutorials?
Yes. This workshop brings one focused finance project, reusable prompts, sample data with expected totals, and troubleshooting guidance into one sequence. You’re paying for a structured path through the build.
Do I need coding experience?
No coding background is required. You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, downloading files, and following setup instructions; you’ll still need to review and check what AI produces.
What do I need—Mac, Windows, and which Claude plan?
You’ll need a computer with internet access. Claude Pro is recommended and currently costs $20/month when billed monthly; it is separate from the workshop and has usage limits. Platform-specific setup instructions will be listed before enrollment opens.
How long does it take, and how do I access the lessons?
The workshop is planned as six self-paced recorded lessons. Total runtime, access duration, and delivery details will be published before checkout opens; we aren’t promising a completion time before testing the build with beginners.
What if I get stuck?
The workshop includes troubleshooting guidance and expected totals for checking your work. Live or individual technical support is not currently promised; the support options will be specified before enrollment opens.
Can I use my own financial data?
Start with the fictional sample data. Before using company or client information, check your organization’s policies and your AI provider’s data settings; running an app locally does not mean that every AI interaction stays on your computer.
Can I expense this through my employer?
That depends on your employer’s learning budget and approval process. Check with them before buying; receipt and billing options will be confirmed when checkout opens.
How does the 14-day money-back guarantee work?
The workshop offer includes a full refund of the workshop price if requested within 14 days of purchase. Separate AI subscriptions and usage charges are not included. Read the refund details.
